After a brief introduction on the origins of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and what it is, this article
focuses on the DIAGORAS project and how it can help in this battle against AMR.
The teams from Hahn-Schickard and the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) have been interviewed to talk about how the device works, who and how it can help to detect infectious diseases and even detect the presence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in the oral or respiratory tract.
